"Do we change classic screenplays because we might offend a few people who don't believe what the writer has written?"

Well not that it's a classic screenplay, but they won't show a lot of Bugs Bunny cartoons these days because of PC reasons or for that matter a lot of old cartoons that we all grew up with and are very fond of.

This was one of my favorite childhood shows... haven't seen it on the TV lately.

A few years ago, the movie Pearl Harbor had a different series of scenes toward the end, I believe, to make it more palatable to global audiences. The distributor didn’t want to show the Japanese in a bad light.

Dr. Demento will no longer play Big Bad Bruce, The Ballad of Ben Gay, or Pancho Lopez.

Is that demented, or what?

Really? That’s an outrage. The All American Rabbit..Bugs don’t mess with anyone ‘til they mess with him. And the classical background music. Watching Bugs was the only way a kid growing up in rural Oregon got to hear the classics! What a loss.
