Yeah, sure. Ok, Mizzou and West Virginia fans.

Tell me all about how you're the best and how great the BCS is.

Now, voters are going to have bend over backwards to distort their ballots to get the matchup that they want.

Can't have Georgia go in. They didn't even win their division!

Can't have Kansas go in. Same thing! But..on the other hand, they only lost one game. But, on the other hand, their schedule sucks!

Well, we've got to put LSU in. They won their conference. Pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzeeeee.

Somebody hand me a barf bag while I yak.

LSU deserves the championship berth more than the other teams ahead of them. It’d be different if WVU or Missouri won, but they didn’t.

OSU/LSU in the national title game. OSU wins by 7.

Pick 8 and let’s play-off.

Hawaii vs. USC.

The only undefeated team vs. the team playing the best right now (which isn't surprising now that they're healthy again).

LSU's two losses were three overtime affairs. The SEC is the toughest conference. I say that as a Kansas fan. I am more upset about Ohio State being in the title game. Their non-conference schedule was a joke and the Big Ten is really weak this year. The fact that they lost to Illinois should rule them out.

If we wanted to the two best teams to play, it would be USC vs Georgia at this stage of the season.

Who says OSU or LSU “deserve” to go? OSU played nobody but Michigan. So what does that prove? They’d give Appy State a good game?

LSU loses to a 4 loss Arkansas team. Do they really deserve to go? Why not a one loss Kansas team? Why not Oklahoma or USC?

It wouldn’t be different if Missouri or West Virginia won. The point is they weren’t the No. 1 and 2 teams! And we found that out pretty quickly, didn’t we?

Is anybody really entitled to go? Come on now.

The point is how do we know who really is deserving? Shouldn’t we have a playoff and find out in real life, instead of computerized roulette wheel?

I love it. We’ll see how good that vaunted SEC defense is when one of theirs plays against Hawaii. :-)

Hawaii’s main victory was over Boise State. Their schedule makes them suspect.

Brad Edwards is a whiner. We need playoffs as much as the US needs hellery as president.

And I’m afraid my Sooners might’ve lost to your Jayhawks if we’d played this year.

Whoever we do play might as well know we have not done well in post-season games in recent years. However, it’s because I’m the jinx for watching, so I won’t this year - just to give us an even chance, lol.

Having said all that, we ARE good and last night was most gratifying! Boomer Sooner!

There would have to be another season to do that. It will never happen. Do you have a viable plan?

Didn’t they say the same thing about Boise last year?

Gee, I think they beat Oklahoma.

Who doesn’t have a viable plan?

The question is more, will the Big Six conferences ever be forced to give up their money grabbing cartel. They make excuses about classes and it’s not financially viable, but the truth is they don’t want to give up their hold on guaranteed big money, so that they can keep most of the money and the recruits that come with it.

It’s not that complicated, if you just force the Big Six to stay away from their greedy base instincts.

Oklahoma was not that good last year. I wan’t surprised by the result.

I wish we would have had the opportunity to play the Sooners, but I don’t know if we would have done much better than Missouri. It is a game of matchups. Mizzou plays a similar offense to KU, so we would have had to deal with OU’s speed on defense and their punishing O-line on offense.

Yep! Follow the money. I believe you have a great point. A play off type of championship will never happen.
