My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

A fang bird and a grin toad, what a wild couple of endangered species!

Yup, you do not see many of those critters around nowadays. Must be Al Bore’s Global Warming scenario that is making them disappear.

Oh my goodness, ROTFLOL!!! Hilarious!

The average fang bird gives you about 70 pounds of meat when dressed out, and it mild, seasons well, and is quiet tasty. I still catch the grin frogs from time to time and sell their legs to the frenchman next door. the rest I sell to a liberal lawyer who makes them front men for the various shady businesses he has. Its a win-win either way.

Good morning here, except I just ran out of coffee. PXs don't open for another hour and a half....gonna be a looooong morning. Blech.
LJ - Jumping in on what you'd posted earlier. How about 12/30/59? Am I gonna marry young? Get rich? Have seven kids? Better get busy on all three since I'm starting late...

When you “gig” those grin frogs they make one hell of a noise, then they try to bite you with those teeth.

Hell you are almost 47, there is still time for all 3 wishes to come true.

48, but I “feel” like a young 55-ish. LOL

Gig? Too old fashion, I use M-80’s to pop them out of the mud and bag’m up! I can usually get 10 or so in about 3 minutes of fun. The shock wave keeps them stunned long enough to get them in the bag, even with the teeth being brushed and flossed to improve the price.

Hell son, at 55 I was still trying to make all three come true with vigor and intent! May not have made a success of it, but I keep trying, even today!

What the hell, it is only a number. The weather patterns and the lack of services (for want of a better term) over there have that tendency to make you feel older that you are.

okay, after we “gigged” them, we used to knock them in the head to quite them down. But, I like your idea.
