My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Oh this is beautiful, really perks up the Lair, thanks Meg.
I was thinking flowers as it is dark and gloomy here and raining. Temps are in the 30s.

I post spring and summer flowers all winter..It does brighten up dreary winter days..The sun is a noshow today but no rain so far.
I got started on all the things I have neglected to do yesterday. O my aching back!

Don’t over do now Meg, isn’t worth it. Simple things get my back fired up due to the swelling in my lower back. I bet it’s the same for you.

That’s just how our cat looked Christmas morning, ribbons and bows! I stuck a bow on her when she walked by, and she carried it around and even slept with it for an hour or so. Clearly she thought she was our present, and we should accept that as her due!

Ah, say no more, a condition we live with. I do the heat pad at night, helps a lot.
