[Soaring Feather]

My Dragonfly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Wonderful, wonderful, thank you NYA.

Just got home for the gala festivities, oh my I ate so much. Talked to the grandson in Canada, what a treat. He will be playing hockey beginning in January. YAY

Merry Christmas, glad you made it,

There’s a table of food to share, and the fireplace is bright with a hardwood fire. We’re all going sledding down Parker’s Hill, then hot cider and Run Toddy for the older set. then NYA is going to disguise one of his liberty call stories as a fairytale (as the statutes of limitations having not run out yet), and then presents for everyone, (we bought them all on a credit card we took of Johnn Kerry when we mugged him and left him dressed as an elf in drag in Greenwich Village, hand cuffed to a tree and no pants.)

Well, big news of the hour, my granddaughter has a new friend. This guy has just come back from a 4 year deployment in Iraq, he was out side of Baghdad. I had a nice chat with him, he is looking for work and not coming up with anything that excites him, and as he said, there are no jobs around this area for him. He is thinking he may re-up for a return to Iraq. Very nice guy. I hugged him and thanked him for his service to our nation.

While in Iraq, he had received some stuff from some organization, I had the opportunity to tell him about Proud Patriots. He said he had no razor blades and a lot of that kind of item. It seems there are so many who are needy for the necessary items.

Santa was good to me, I recieved a paper shredder, and a new watch with a white leather band. I have missed my watch so much since I lost it last fall.

LOL. Glad to see that you are in good form. Hope that all is well with you and your family and maybe just maybe Santa can forgive you of your misdeeds this year. I am going go to midnight mass tonight and hopefully the church foundation will not shake in shock because of my attendance. I am not particularly proud of this.
