My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

As far as I know, everyone listens to Billy Gilman and I'm the last to know about his talent.
If you haven't seen him as a young boy singing, "Oh, Holy Night," put on a sweater because you're going to get the chills.
Oh, Holy Night

Hi. Have you ever heard of Billy Gilman? That recording was made around 2000, Y2K, and this is the first I have.
I figure I’m pretty much out of it.

Oh Ireland, oh Erin I say
green land of ancient ways
Druid home, Celtic loam
magic imbued and heart’s home
Battleground, and vault of history
bound by a turbulent and wild sea
rolling hills where the English kill
Irish heroes fought to legends fill
part of my heart, yet from me far apart
across time, since time did start
whisper the winds of times gone by
and ghosts of the past still do cry
oh land of my people, I cry for you
and proud am I for all you managed to do
the land, bitter sweet yet fair of all
one day I will walk you again at your call

Birthday! TOM?
I thought after that many fires they made you stop
celebrating birthdays as a public safety measure?

I’m at the coffee shop again, and having a blast writing.
When you slug-a-beds finally fall out of bed, here’s breakfast.
Waffles (Belgium) with Apple Compote and whipped creme
Thick sliced bacon
German Potato Pancakes with sour cream and apple sauce
Eggs (your way)
Ice cold milk
Coffee with the fixings
Fresh juice
Toast and whipped butter and preserves
Sticky Buns with Maple frosting

One thing about a ‘beer and candle cake’ like that, it helps keep the house warm, contributes to global warming, and could be used to cook half a steer in the event the gas went off in the storm!
