My Dragonfly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

It’s beginning to rain now. UGH! I think it will be a short party, I have prepared a dish to pass and the rest of the family will bring something.
It can get very nasty, very rapidly out in the boonies. No picnic driving on ice and slush.
Have fun at the dog show, pictures, we need pictures.
To: Soaring Feather
Chin up! You don’t drive, so maybe driving’s not as difficult as it looks.
Just got back and need rest and warmth before downloading photos. Standing outside in this 20 degree weather for two hours takes a lot out of you.

Just got home from the party. Great time was had by all. Roads were more slushy this evening but not frozen. Everyone left early to get home before darkness set in. It has warmed up a lot from this morning, however, there is a storm warning out for tonight and into tomorrow morning. Soooo.. we shall see, glad I don’t have to be out tomorrow.

5-8 inches snow, 19 degrees, heading down towards the 5 degrees for tonight, and a very good reason to stay inside, and enjoy snuggling on the couch, and watching old movies together.

Snuggle in with Nan and enjoy the movies.

Great, well I am off to snuggle in the wool blanket. See you tomorrow. Only stick your nose out the door, do not venture out. ;0)

I have a fire in the fireplace, outside white Christsmas lights on a tall bunch of nandina outside of the patio door,Handel playing..I have finished decorating for Christmas..No more boxes out! It looks great!
I decided to just keep at it until I was happy with it..The pine needles are swept up but the kitchen needs work..tomorrow.
I haven’t been on the computer today so I’ll have to catch up.
I started putting the lights up outside as a cold front hit so the fire feels nice. We’ll warm up to the 50s tomorrow. I was out in lightweight cotton short sleeves earlier. Another big change.

Good morning everyone.
The cats is in the Christmas tree
doing a balancing act
he wiggles and wobbles this way and that
the tress swaying east and west,
gaining a foothold on the end of a branch
the cat does not have a chance.
as Christmas bulbs go flying off
pop, pop, the explosions go on and on
shattered glass flying over the house
the cat is innocent and tells you so
I was satisfying my curiosity, you see
with all the pretties on the tree
the warmth of the air set them spinning,
I had to see if catching them could be
as fun
as toying with a mouse!
