Uh hah...I just went to the john and hurled, damn it.
Why do they do this to me? ;I
I actually don’t know what you are talking about. I was talking about the holding call in the end zone that gave the Pats a first down prior to their final score. I felt the Ravens should have been called for pass interference not holding.
It almost seemed like the football gods played a hand when that tipped ball that went a mile into the air and yet somehow no one from Baltimore could get to it.
Me too. Jaworski was driving me nuts.
I was worried that he was gonna cream in his jeans if the Ravens actually pulled it off. What a tool.
It is what it is :)
I was thinking the same.
That DT in the middle of their line is a load!!!! Pats receivers dropped 2 TDs in the end zone tonight which made this a lot harder than it should have been.
That said, fire Brian Bollox. His play calling sucked and that TO he called lost his team the game. His defense has no respect for him and they are the heart of the team.
What I didn’t understand was the play call on 3rd and 2 with 4 minutes left. Why throw the ball to McGahee when he’s been running so well?
Disagree on that final touchdown. The ball was definitely in control. There is a difference between a ball not firmly held and a ball that is bobbling. That ball was definitely not bobbling.
I think it was called holding because it occurred before the pass got to Watson.
I think you need some Pepto-Bismol...
I had to mute the ESPN cast on the Gaffney touchdown. What a gaggle of cretin announcers.

It reminded me watching the 49ers as a kid when a team would play them really tough but you just knew that Montana was going to pull it out in the end somehow.
Oh, my bad. I was talking about the Hail Mary play. The call on the DB was for holding Watson as he came off the line and past 5 yards. It was a solid call. PI would have been a harder case to make and really, the holding turned into PI when you think about it.
They got caught flat-footed tonight and nearly paid the price.
Although there were more than a few dropped passes that would have made this game a rout if they'd been caught.
All in all, I'm more worried about the Steelers. I have been dreading the Pittsburgh game since week 5.
The Pats better bring it all with them next Sunday or that "0" is gonna go.
NFL announcers lately seem to think they’re in a soap opera....
The weather conditions equalized the game quite a bit. I know that the Ravens played hard and inspired and they do have some talent on the defensive side of the ball but the Pats couldn’t play their game. The D certainly stepped up in the 4th quarter when they shut off the running game.
That was huge.
Also annoying was having Don Shula in the booth all that time, no doubt chortling on how he was hoping for the Ravens to win so he could get to that champagne. I bet he already had the wire cage off the bottle and was twisting the cork.
