There was several years in Elementary school that I had a constant red bum, and I earned every one of those spankings. I still thank the principle who whooped me to this day.

I got spanked, my brothers got spanked, and all my children got spanked. Magically about age 9-11 they catch on and do not need them anymore.

My brothers and sisters and I got spanked a lot as kids, and boy, we sure needed it. We’ve all turned out pretty well. Spanking kids is one thing, beating them is another, and my parents knew the difference.

Thanks ALL for assisting the non-scientific poll (Is there a legal obligation to make that statement?) I saw a similiar poll with essentially the same results (95% favor corporal punishment).
