But Burlington is also a quintessential small, Midwest town, and local ties run deep. Outside of Dallas, nobody roots harder for the down-to-earth young quarterback who wasn't even drafted out of Eastern Illinois five years ago.Nothing wrong with that; however, I know darn well the folks of Burlington will be rooting for the Pack (and Farvre) this week against Dallas (and Romo.)

Already the comparisons are being made between Favre and Romo, since their style of play and leadership ability, and complete lack of fear are quite similar.
Should be a fun game to watch.

The question isn't who will win, because it's a foregone conclusion that Dallas will.
It's how many Dallas will win by.

Re:
PING! Double Big-D...
PING back at ya!
Hey, being cool...
is my middle name.
Should be one hell of a game, but all I can say is
How 'bout...
that Romo!
How 'bout...
them Cowboys!
Okay, I predict a close game...
with Dallas winning by less than 7.
If it goes the other way...
I will compensate somehow!
And, ex...
you stop posting my picture unless you send me a fifty buck license fee!

I love watching Bret play....for me football should be entertainment. He is VERY entertaining.
It was most entertaining when I lived in Colorado Springs. Back then the Broncos beat the pack, we celebrated accordingly. Some of our in-your-face Packer fans went from our neighborhood to Las Vegas to bet on the game. When they returned their found their mail box and front door was painted Bronco orange.
We wouldn’t have done that if we knew how much they lost on that game.....
