Thanks for the sense of humor, which is badly lacking on this thread.

Actually, the humor is how easy it is to jerk the SEC and Big Ten fans' chains, especially the Big Ten who appear to be completely humorous. Well, I guess the anticipation of seeing their "Big Guns" Michigan and Ohio State humiliated again is a bit sad, but they should just learn to accept that the Big Ten is just below the Atlantic Ten when it comes to football.

I live in Missouri and have been cheering on Mizzou, after of course my Gators. Your boys have a big game this next weekend. Good luck to them against OU and in their bowl game, especially if it’s against an SEC team!

Maybe the voters were confused by Les Miles who kept referring to Arkansas as Ar-Kansas.?

Be 4-8 with nutt, what is the difference...real game plans, character, passing, defense, etc.

We had a great team this year...the best backs in the country, seasoned O-line, we lacked a passing QB and WR’s and that was due to recruiting.

We had the best backs in the country because of recruiting. They could have followed Cedric Houston, or Kodi Burns, or the latest additions to the University of Spoiled Children.

We had a seasoned O-line because of recruiting and coaching. They could have left, just as the linemen went to Notre Dame (sucker!), or Auburn.

We lost a first round NFL draft pick in summer practice. With him we are what -- 10-2?

Thanks. The Tigers aren't getting much love right now from the "experts," but if they beat Oklahoma, they will have the best pedigree of any team this season. They will have beat every team on their schedule (by avenging their only loss to Oklahoma), their only loss will have been on the road to the [at the time) #6 ranked team (and still a top ten team), will have victories over the [at the time] #2 and #10 team, plus other top 25s (Nebraska, Texas Tech) and will have a victory over a quality non-conference foe (Illinois, who exposed the grossly overrated buckheads) who is currently highly ranked. They also played a SEC team in their non-conference schedule (who knew Ole Miss would be so bad?) I think they will be a fitting representative to the title game.

And four of those "big" wins coming from having defeated such powerhouses as North Texas Teachers College, Florida International University, Troy University, and Tennessee-Chatanooga.

Nope, Dmac wanted to be a Razorback forever and the same is true for Hollis. nutt tried to run Hollis off too, Danny nutt. said he wasn't hurt last year and wasn't a team player.

I suggest you learn what went on during nutt's tenure.

Oh yes, they weren't Houston nutt's Razorback as they used to be were introduced, they are the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Add West Virginia to that list that weak schedules have helped. The national championship game this year will probably be a dud.

I don't know if their schedule helped them or not, but if you think any game they would play in would be a dud, you must not have watched them play. With their speed on offense, they are a fun team to watch.

Put WVU in the SEC and they are playing for an Independence Bowl bid.

Hummmm? Didn't WVU win the Gator Bowl last year against one of those real tough SEC teams or is my memory faulty?

So, you’re not buying the rumors that D-Mac and Felix will blow off the Cotton Bowl because of Nutt’s departure. No doubt, you believe D-Mac’s expression of support for Nutt was just hooey.

Well, you have your wish. The Nutts are all run off. Do you want to bet whether the successor’s record will beat Nutt’s over 3 years? Over 5 years?

It is over, nutt is gone.

I want to win a NC, so I hope and trust we win far more games.

It is time for a Razorback Pax.

WV crushed Georgia a few years ago in the Peach Bowl. I believe Georgia is from the SEC which I understand to be the greatest football conference of all tine

My mistake. Georgia Tech is ACC, not SCC. WVU beat them last January at the Gator Bowl.

I'm not really a West Virgina fan. But they are sure fun to watch with that high power offense. And this year, I think they sure deserve a shot at the title assuming they beat their arch rival, Pitt on Saturday. That game can be funny. On paper, Pitt does not have a chance. But probably 20% of the players on each team have been playing either with or against each other since Pop Warner league. You never know what will happen in that game. They call it the "Back Yard Brawl" and it really is.

Yes, I remember one year I was driving from Pittsburgh to Atlanta on the day of the Pitt-WV game. As I left Pittsburgh I noticed the radio stations were talking up the big gme as early as 7AM.

I used to usher at Pitt Stadium when I was a kid, and the West Virginia game was always the most fun.

In a lot of ways, it was like a family reunion and there were families who had kids in both schools. They are only 70 miles apart.
