Well, the book was written in 1984 and it did claim what would happen. So either it’s real or the guy had an amazing talent for predicting the future. When you see Putie and his henchmen in control and they were all former KGB (even the Russian mob), and Russia is started to “backslide”, it does make you wonder.

There was nothing amazing about predicting the collapse of the USSR in the '80s, unless you were in academics or the CIA. Do you forget that Ronald Reagan himself had predicted it long, long before that? :)
