Do I really..Please elaborate!!
Are you sleeping..do you not know the definition of TROLL..am I a troll..pour your beer down the sink..get on the bandwagon..and CAN’t We all come together and be FRiends!!
You have only been signed on a few weeks and seem to be antagonizing other posters for no reason. Perhaps you should put down the beer.
And don’t forget ‘Give ‘em Hell Harry’ (Truman). And contray to jveritas’s claim in 19, yes, there were campaign buttons ‘I like Ike’.
And just before hitting ‘post’, I thought of ‘Silent Cal’. (Coolidge).
Because if we called them Thompson or Clinton, there would be confusion as to ‘which one’. And ‘Rudy’ was ‘Rudy’ before he ran for president. ‘Rudy’ requires less type space than ‘Mayor Giuliani’ &, since I don’t think the NYTimes likes him, I’m guessing that they probably thought they were being cute by using a diminutive.
We had affectionally referred to President Eisenhower as Ike, but not Dwight. JFK was Jack Kennedy, not John Kennedy.
President Ford was just that, never Gerald, seldom Jerry.
President Nixon was Richard and seldom Dick, until he became Tricky Dick.
President Reagan was just that, never Ronald, and seldom Ron.
Both George Herbert Walker as well as George W Bush have done well going by George.
So there has been an increase in familiarity.
I think both Rudi and Fred work.
But it will remain Senator Barack Hussein Obama and
(Senator) Mrs. Bill Clinton
To begin with, the post I am replying to said:
CANt We all come together and be FRiends!!
That fairly REEKS of "Don't taze me, bro!"
FReepers don't talk like that.
To continue:
Your homepage said:
"Like minded people tend to flock together, so here I am at FR."
Conservatives typically don't talk of being "like minded people" or to use the word "flock". These are more usually associated with liberals' attempts to pigeonhole conservatives, the more easily to dispose of them.
And finally:
You use too many caps, especially in conjunction with words like "banish".
...and by the way, that's not the FReeper term for it.
If you had been a lurker, you'd have picked that up.
Conclusion:
Go back to DU and tell them your cover has been blown. ;-)
Do you like kitties?
Cheers!
I think most of the frontrunning candidates are managing to do that all by themselves. What name we call them is the least of our problems.
Have you seen any signs up that say “Clinton for President”? I haven’t. They all say “Hillary”. Obviously she and her handlers want it that way.
It just another one of Clinton Inc pathetic attempts to cover up Mrs Bill Clinton’s complete lack of any qualification to be President of the USA by manufacturing a phony image of glamor around her.
An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who intentionally posts controversial or contrary messages in an on-line community such as an on-line discussion forum or group with the intention of baiting users into an argumentative response.
Exactly.
I thought they said "Hilarity".
Not well said.
What’s with the “we” and “us” garbage?
Your 3 week membership is hardly enough time to pronounce judgement or membership standing to anybody, n00b.
And watch it with the insults.
You’ve brought unwanted attention to yourself. You might want to be more careful in the future.
LOL!
pwnt.
I have insulted some of you, for that I am very, very sorry.
Please forgive me, my future posts will be of the nonalcoholic variety!!
BTW, 386WT just happened to be the tail number of a dear old Piper Dakota airplane that I owned once. Spent many a blissful time flying all over this beautiful country in her.
Neat!!
Although I have flown many times over the years,(as a passenger), I’ve never enjoyed it, turbulence, etc.
I admire you sky guys..you can get there quicker than me!! :)
