This sounds like a more or less ordinary hunting accident (think Dick Cheney). I guess it is the bow hunter angle that makes it news?
It makes the news because around here the media can’t pass up on a story that makes us hunters look bad.
Such as this story of a girl’s dead pony that was initially pegged on hunters, but was ruled a natural death today.
