Oh, OK...if you say so...Geez...look at the inside of this car. It has the best navigation system in any car today. 40gig hard drive, a TIVO like system for the radio where you can pause, record, fast forward and reverse RADIO!:

That center radio pops up for the navigation/audio touchscreen.

“Looks like one little bump into something and you are out a whole
lotta bucks!!”

I don’t know what was the real cause...
but I did see a large “covering”(?) flapping off the undercarriage
under a 2-3 year old Cadillac in front of me in traffic the other day.

Whether it’s a Caddie that got abused on a rough road...or just
victimized by some of the poor roads here in Mid-Missouri...
I don’t know.

I looked at and drove the Caddy. I liked it but ended up instead choosing a Pontiac with 303HP instead last January.

do not consider Motor Trend as a credible source...

Checked out the Consumer Report website and, although it says that they haven't completed their tests of the '08 model yet,the short blurb they included was quite positive.

What's interesting was that Cadillac developed the CTS using a lot of time at Nuerburgring race track so it has really good handling. With its six-speed automatic and the direct-injected V-6 engine, the car drives surprisingly well and gets pretty decent fuel efficiency considering its size and power.

I expect within two years the CTS will get a 3.2-liter V-6 turbodiesel that meets today's emission rules but has 33% better fuel efficiency than the gasoline engine.

Not that I consider Consumer Reports a non-credible site but unless this is a long term test it doesn't hold much water for me.

I prefer a review from Road & Track or Car And Driver with a long term review. These people beat the heck out of them for 60,000 miles and give you the results, my kind of people. ;-D

I’m worried that after a few years of good, smooth lines, auto designs are getting “boxy” again, like the CTS front end there. I don’t like this trend at all.

In this price range, an Audi A6 is a much better bet. It’ll hold its resale value better and as far as HP, fit and trim disgrace the Caddie. ;-D

I hear some good vibes from GM lately. Maybe they are coming back to life.

New Anger-Powered Cars May Revolutionize The Way We Drive

excerpt:

An engine burning clean, white-hot hatred will release few harmful byproducts into the atmosphere—bad vibes and a small amount of water vapor will combine to be released in the form of human spittle. In addition, anger technology will turn the standard fuel-economy paradigm on its head: An anger-powered engine is actually more efficient in heavy urban traffic.

How on earth would you know about the resale value...THIS IS A BRAND NEW, WELL RECEIVED model. I’ve seen the Audi. I’m sure it’s a marvelous car, but they’re all starting to look alike...I like this car..it’s different and the interior is world class.
