“Play FREEBIRD!!!”
I was playin’ in a country band some years back, at a small club. Some skankoid girl with no front teeth yelled that out. I went into my guitarcase and gave everyone in the band but the drummer a bottleneck slide. None of us knew the tune, but sorta remembered the melody. So we all played the melody. Two slide guitars, slide fiddle, and slide bass. I was laughin’ so hard I almost peed my pants!

“Play FREEBIRD!!!” Someone, someday, really and truly NEEDS to scream this just as loudly as possible during a performance by the New York Philharmonic. ;)
