The Eighth Wing Stripper, while not necessarily a prank, was the best tradition that went by the wayside while I was there due to PC.
Epic.
Epic.
When I was in Grade 6, I and a bunch of guys took advantage of the very thick blanket of heavy, wet snow during the lunch recess to quickly block the vice principles car from backing out of it’s parking spot. We expected he would just be able to drive through it at the end of the day but as the day went on the temperature fell quite a bit and froze it rock solid and rooted it to the ground.
I remember after school seeing him standing at the window looking at his car blocked in like that (there was a fence in front of his car so he couldn’t pull out that way either) as mad as can be and cursing under his breath. I was so scared someone would finger me as the one who started, it but nobody did.
He had to get a bunch of guys to move the car sideways into the next parking spot (lift front bumper, swing car over 6 inches, repeat for the back bumper over and over) so he could pull out.
I always had it in for that bitch Anne Murray.
Music students. Humph!
Roll it onto its side, and it should fit easily, especially if you took the tires off.
Only the Jocks could have carried it that way, though.
Glorious - and hilarious! :D
This is a great one..... It’ll take me three visits to read the entire article...I’m almost halfway through. LOL
The pranks of the intellects...the saga continues. :)
That picture is a classic!
LOL You did get lucky...what a funny memory.. :) That was a interesting way to remove the car!
Yea, well what about that pencil necked Dudley Doright!
In the fall we filled one persons dorm room with leaves from floor to ceiling. We did it while he was away for the weekend, scabbing a pass key when no one was looking. When he returned and opened the door on a Sunday evening....Avalanche.
Of course we cleaned it up, the leaves disappered as fast as they had appeared and we had a few cases of beer over it. BUt the look on the victims face was worth it, and watching him try to clean up alone for a few minutes and curse everyone was worth the work we did.
Then we "hung" a freshman out of a window with a hangmans noose around his neck ( supported by a hidden rope under his arms, concealed by a jacket.) That nearly got a few of us expelled, but it did not in the end.
Another time we took a guy who was dead drunk, propped him up on a mattress in front of the womens dorm naked but for a dab of shaving cream over his privates, We got the girls up and looking out their windows taking pictures, and then woke they guy up. That was really funny.
So today on most campus we would be censored and expelled as perverts. Its laughable. That intelligence and spirit is missing on todays campuses, and the students are essentially bleating sheep, who do little more than recite jingoistic phrases of pseudowisdom.
I could outline many more pranks, we did a couple every month. We lived a life of hard study with episodes of incredible joy and humor. That is why we remain steadfast friends to this day.
In 1971, Hoffman essentially pranked himself...and he pranked himself again in 1989.
