Hi pride!

(Robt waves towards AL from back of the room.... Very innocently.)

(Guenny wonders if she should warn a fellow coquette about certain thongs (er, things.) about the back of the classroom.)

All deserts are good at a potluck.

(Xsmommy notes that Robt usually ends up bringing the paper plates and ice....)

(CJ points out that paper plates and ice are about all that Robt should cook.)

(The dent points out that RObt is doing good if he doesn’t burn the ice and freeze the paper plates...)

New Rule : The more complicated the Starbucks order, the bigger the ass****. If you walk into a Starbucks and order a “decaf grande half-soy, half-low fat, iced vanilla, double-shot, gingerbread cappuccino, extra dry, light ice, with one sweet-n’-Low, and one NutraSweet,” ooh, you’re a huge ass****.

OMG this is so true!

Grannydiva seems like it sounds a bit easier for little people ..

St Ronnie wanted to use Granny. Nana for Julie’s mom.

Perspicacious democrats are starting to see that the junior senator from New York is not the smartest woman in the world, nor indeed would she be the smartest woman in many high schools. How can a candidate get busted setting up softball questions for a performance (speech)? They’ve been rigging public appearances forever but dopey Clinton got busted.

“Smartest woman in the world,” indeed.

A+++ - that had better be FRESH asparagus (as if YOU would serve any other kind) because that’s the only way I will eat it. If it’s fresh and steamed........DELISH!

A++

BTW, I HAVE succumbed to Global Warming......I bought three plants this month for inside the house. I actually did it to cheer me up from the prospect of a long dreary winter.....but HEY, why not claim some PC points while I am at it. Of course, I tried that line on hubby and he buried his face in his hands shaking his head in disbelief. He even made a show of taking off his glasses to do it......it worked — the other diners at the restaurant turned to see what was up at our table. LOL.....too bad I KNOW everyone in this little town. LOL

My grandmother was always MeMe. I’m 47 years old and still refer to her as MeMe. My Aunt recently sent me several boxes of her earrings, and although she never met her, Jax knows that her greatgrandmother’s earrings are MeMe’s earrings.

The pair of her earrings that Jax is currently wearing is the first pair Meme wore after the “trainer” ones after getting her ears pierced when I was Jax age, 38 years ago.

I need to get a copy of Blazing Saddles........I think I will as a Christmas present for hubby!!!

I came up with another reason today to be against my “attic office”.............I was in the middle of a rather long post and lost all the power on my side of the attic. Yes, I’m back on line right now, but only because of an extension cord to the other side of the room.

xsbro just sent me this, you guys have probably seen it before?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
John Madden was in New England to announce a football game one weekend when he noticed a special telephone near the Patriots' bench. He asked QB Brady what it was used for and was told it was a hotline to God. John asked if he could use it. Brady replied, 'Sure, but it will cost you $200. John scratched his head, then thought, what the heck, I could use some help picking games. He pulled out his wallet and paid $200. John's picks were perfect that week. The next week, John was in Indianapolis when he noticed that same kind of phone on the Colts bench. He asked what the telephone was for and Manning told him, 'It's a hotline to God if you want to use it, it will cost you $500.' Recalling the previous week, John pulled out his wallet and made the call. John's picks were perfect again that week. Last weekend, John was in Pittsburgh, when he noticed the same kind of telephone by the Steelers' bench. He asked Ben Roethlisberger, 'Is that the hotline to God?' Roethlisberger said, 'Yes, and if you want to use it, it will cost you 50 cents.' John looked incredulously at Roethlisberger and said, 'Wait a second, I just paid $200 in New England and $500 in Indianapolis to use the same phone to God! Why do the Steelers only charge 50 cents?' Roethlisberger replied, 'Because in Pittsburgh, it's a local call...Welcome to God 's Country.' GOOOO STEELERS!!!
