Last night, in Las Vegas, the Democratic candidates were showcased in a debate for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States. Perspicacious FReepers, as usual, were quite entertaining on the live thread. Of particular amusement was the cackling heard early on in the debate...as one astute FReeper observed,
it began with a cackle and ended with a whimper. I thank BORe for today's word.....I stole it from him!

..My 3 yr old granddaughter is perspicacious....she calls me
Grammy...(as in
award winning :)) ....
just kidding)
She really does call me Grammy.
My husband wanted to be called Grampa, but she decided to call him Papaw...(*note to xsmommy, must be in the Sothren' genes, her daddy's from Atlanta) :)
..and her Grammy's from Tennessee :^

AlGore thinks that he’s perspicacious
Seeing things that only AlGore can see
His remedies won’t really be efficacious
Restricted lifestyles with less energy
Of course, his own life will still be bodacious
Lear Jets and mansions are his true legacy

Good Morning!
I suspect that true perspicacity is 99% perspiration, and one percent "-acity."

Perspicacity. There's an old word from the FR religious wars.
It is gently snowing right now. We got a healthy covering overnight. Nothing stuck to roads or sidewalks, but I did have to scrape some wet sitcky stuff off the cars.

She came over last night with her pink cowgirl boots on..( Grammy bought, natch)..
..ran up & told me she's not a cowgirl yet cause she doesn't have the skirt, vest and hat!!!...How's that for perspicacious!
Grandpa watches her on Thursday night, so Grammy & her mommy/daddy can rehearse the Christmas Cantata at church.
They eat ice cream and color :)

Well, the grass is still poking out. Less than an inch, but yes, it's a "wake up call" snow. All the idiots are out buying tires right now.
I used to enjoy teasing (OK, mocking) our Protestant posters about "the perspicacity of Scripture" whenever they disagreed among themselves.
