Sigh. I figured this was not something I could take my 12-year-old daughter to. A bit of a shame. She knows the story and is interested, but I guess Hollywood had to make it “interesting”. Guess I’ll see it without her.
i have read this story to my kids, and they really like it.. however putting this in pictures takes the story from what the kids imagine in their minds, to what we as adults imagine in our minds, thus creating the problem.. hollywood didnt make it ‘interesting’, the troublesome (for younger audiences) elements of the story were there when it was written
