I just received the strangest FReeper email from a "Be4Fred." I'll post it below. And did FReeper "pissant" really get banned for showing support for Duncan Hunter? This whole thing gave me a creepy feeling.

The mystery is deepening.
I’m thinking it is someone a bit incensed that Pissant was given a timeout and blames it on his non-support of Fred.
I don’t think it was Pissant. That is my belief.
I knew it wasn’t coming from anyone connected to the Fred Thompson campaign. For one thing, they didn’t have the correct info.
What was he doing that caused such a response?
I seriously doubt this came from the Fred Thompson campaign.
This was a pissed off Freeper who thinks that “their guy” isn’t being given a fair advantage and that Fred is the gold standard. And they held up Pissant being given a time-out to prove their point.
They went through any Fred threads (or any of the candidate threads) and pulled out everyone that posted on them and FReepmailed them. And used PING lists.
That is what makes the most sense.
I clicked on the thread link in the spam FRemail and found myself on the thread where, apparently, it happened. Lots of the sufferers of TDS (Thompson Derangment Syndrome) on the thread.

Pissant’s constant, baseless. attacks against every other candidate, instead of supporting his own wore thin, I suspect.
I was going to send a really MAD reply to the one I received- - account banned.
DUMB attempt on the part of whoever sent it...no class.
Ironically for Pissant, Hunter and Thompson are good friends.

Not surprising ~ H & T both have our country's best interest at heart.
I think that either Hunter or Thompson would make a great addition to the other's administration. I like them both as candidates and would happily vote for either in November, 2008. I will vote in the California Republican primary on February 5th, 2008, and I will certainly take electability into account, but as of now it seems very likely that my vote will go to either FDT or Duncan Hunter.
I think any effort to drive a wedge between the Hunter supporters and the Thompson supporters, either here on FR or anywhere, is bad politics and just plain wrongheaded. They are both good men and they are both conservatives.

I lost my spam virginity today (blush)...never happened before. I'll probably hate myself in the morning.
He probably doesn't either....I got a "timeout" a couple of years ago for posting a picture that a Mod thought was inappropriate....
OK.......so I sat out for 3 or 4 days, and finally re-logged in to axe what the deal was. JimRob, or the Mod, or whoever reinstated me with not much explanation (I don't think they monitor the suspended list until they get yakked at)
