I just received the strangest FReeper email from a "Be4Fred." I'll post it below. And did FReeper "pissant" really get banned for showing support for Duncan Hunter? This whole thing gave me a creepy feeling.

Yes, that is my take. It is someone who has either been banned or has watched others be banned and is now engaging in a bit of civil disobedience.
This election is not bringing out the best in anyone. I think the problem is that there is no clear choice and we are feeling more than a little desperate. We all have our own priorities in a candidate and we can’t understand when those priorities are not the same as other Freepers.

i think he strikes people differently, not all are as virulently opposed to him, i don’t think. i think he is misguided and a bit insane in re; Fred is all. but he does harm Hunter with the antiFred vitriol. i do agree on that.

Haven’t been around near as long as you — but I’ve never gotten ANY sort of freepmail spam, ‘til this one.
I admire him for his fire in supporting Hunter, whom I also like a lot, and even though I grow weary of his anti-Fred posts, I hope this is only a ‘time-out’ and that he’ll be back.
Wherever, whoever, it came from it struck me as threatening. And, in 3 yrs, 5 mos posting here I have never received a threatening FRmail. The title of it “Last Warning” really jarred me. Then, I thought how the he!! do you know I didn’t donate to Fred’s campaign?
It was unappreciated, would like to know who is behind it.
I received three emails. And I HAVE donated to Fred’s campaign, only not in the last month. It kind of ticked me off getting them here. But I just deleted them and went about business.
Now pissant’s zoted. Sheesh! While we didn’t agree on candidates I never had a problem with him, not like with very few other FReepers who go out of their way to be nasty.
I was wondering where pissant has been. He’s usually really funny.
I didn’t delete the mail, but didn’t respond either. Checked the user, who had been zotted. If it happens again, hopefully management can track down the source and prevent further spam like it.
Not sure what’s going on here.
I hope it’s not either. But this is a good time in general to remember that conservative organizations like NRLC, Heritage Foundation, Free Congress Foundation, TownHall, and NRO, while they may do things we don’t like, ARE OUR NECESSARY ALLIES.
We should find ways to push our candidates without casting aspersions on these organizations for supporting other candidates.
Well, I don’t see pissant doing this. He’s been really intense lately, but that’s all. I don’t recall ever having words with him. He even agreed with me once that some other Hunter supporters were out of line.

I agree. But if pissant did this I’d be very surprised. Intense? Yes. Subversive? No.
I received one and Cyber received three spams from two different posters.

He’s always been cordial with me, in fact, quite pleasant to chat with on occasion. If you have a different experience then that’s something that I don’t know of.
Uh huh. Perhaps some “quiet time” and a “happy place” would be in order.
