November 14, 2007

There has been much great work done by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Gulf Region Division in Iraq, that we will never see in the old media.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Gulf Region Division Press releases are in pdf.

What is the best, easiest way,to convert a pdf file to html,so that the hard work of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers can be seen?

I finally found a way today, but it is not satisfactory to me.

Thanks in advance.

Acrobat Professional has HTML as a Save As choice. Turns out just like the .pdf in appearance.

Somebody will have a good solution.

If the press releases are under 2MB, you can use a free website to do the conversion

https://www.pdfonline.com/convert_pdf.asp

Here is a Windows program that is decent and free:

That sourceforge project seems dead,

try this instead:

Thanks,I think I figured it out now.

This is a preview of how my newfound pdf to html would show up.

An electrical substation completed `That should last at least 40 years'

Completion of an electrical substation in southern Iraq recently brought forth happy citizens and an array of Iraqi officials, including the deputy governor of Najaf Province and the directors general of involved regional and local electrical directorates.
