This cannot be considered a 'hold muh beer' incident - he was out of the stuff...

Sounds like a real emergency to me.

I guess the poor bastard doesn't have any buddies.
Poor planning on his part, Football and no beer, I guess he doesn't have Tivo either.

Had a neighbor a few decades ago who cut his hand as he put it through the glass of the hallway fire extinguisher cabinet. While calling 911, after giving his address, he forgot what he was calling about and began to ask for pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage,... the responding officers were not amused. Alcohol was involved.

At least he didn’t try and drive someplace to get beer.

Hey Brian, you’re no Ted Kennedy...
To: Libloather
Did he get a DUI for calling while intoxicated? One wonders if you can get a DUI for driving on the information superhighway while drinking AKA surfing the net while under the influence.
To: ShadowDancer
Been there. And then you got mad when I brought the wrong brand!
To: COBOL2Java
I actually had that beer “piggy bank” but it had the little “shorty” cans in it... eight of them, IIRC.

Hey, I’m not one to throw stones. Running out of beer is pretty serious. It happened to me once, but my therapist says I can expect a full recovery, occasional nightmares aside.
