Thank you so much for posting this. I have been praying this film seriously tanks and we can finally see the decline and fall of Redford and Cruise.

I mean, who wants to give these guys money anymore? If their movies don’t make money, they will not be able to command high salaries, they won’t be offered parts or director’s roles.

I needed to hear something good today. Whooo-hoo!

They release this “movie” on Veterans Day weekend??? No way will I ever pay to see this film. Add Redford, Streep and Cruise to my “do not watch” list. I wish they would just go away.

I couldn’t be happier. Coming from the Utah County area, where I was born and raised and know redford all to well, ahem, its about time people keep their monies for family events and entertainment instead of making these idiots rich and in their minds, more important than they really are....

redford should own a toilet paper company, about his style!

It's a hate flick - hate Bush, hate Republicans.

If Redford's can afford to give the finger

to the half of Americans who happen to be conservative,

more power to him.

If not, may his one-sided hate-American films bankrupt him.

Hollywood is casualty of war as movie-goers shun Iraq films

LOS ANGELES (AFP) — The wave of recent films set against the backdrop of war in Iraq and post-9/11 security has failed to win over film-goers keen to escape grim news headlines when they go to the movies, analysts say.

In a break with past convention, when films based on real conflicts were made only years after the last shots were fired, several politically-charged films have gone on release while America remains embroiled in Iraq.

Almost without exception, however, the crop of movies have struggled to turn a profit at the box-office and in many cases have received a mauling from unimpressed critics as well.

If Hollywood would make a patriotic war film, it would do well. See "Blackhawk Down" - which was a phenomenal success at both the box office and in DVD sales.

The truth is, liberals would rather spew their venom than make a war film that honors American's warriors and their fight against Islamic evil.

Even "The Kingdom" - which was filmed in Saudi Arabia and put the Saudis in a positive light, failed at the box office miserably. It cost over 70 million to make and earned less than 47 million at the box office. In short, it didn't even break even.

Looks like this is headed quickly to the DVD bone pile.

Then, it will be used next year in homes of rats pushing and pimping $inator Hilldebea$t to their brain damaged fellow libs.

George 76 has labeled this left wing strategy of poing 50% of their potential audience, the Dixie Chick marketing strategy. It has been a real loser for them and every other hate America Hatriotic in show business.

Hopefully, Hate America Redford will continue to finance losers like this one. He has to be one of the richest left wing Hatriotics in America. Besides his spread in Utah, he apparently owns some very expensive land in the California Wine Country. He slips in and out of Wino land in his well guarded limos after flying in from Utah. So much for his concern of Global Warming.

Movies like this turn off those of us who support our warriors and Vets.

Another answer may be even more devastating for the liberals: Their Mantras of lies, Anti Americanism, hatred and despair is not working in a capitalistic market.

Air America failed and so do most liberal talk shows if they aren’t based in Gay Frisco or some other blue city. ABCNNBCBS are falling into the liberal cess pool, and most liberal fishwraps are heading to those cess pools.

Besides just being wrong, they can’t compete in our capitalist society. Who besides the mentally ill want to waste their money/time on a movie, a book, a fishwrap or pseudo news magazine with no positive redeeming qualities?

The anti America left wing hatriotics are in big trouble. No one but the insane wants to buy their stuff, watch it or listen to it, but their hard core mentally ill deviants.

I liked the Utah offer to turn the Redford property into wilderness and open space.

Tear down his stuff.
