This photo released by the Guinness World Records shows Jackie Bibby in a see-through bathtub with 87 rattlesnakes, in Dublin, Texas, Monday, Nov. 5, 2007. Bibby spent about 45 minutes in the tub shattering his own record by 12 snakes. (AP Photo/Guinness World Records/Carla Metzler)
“The key to not biting is for me to stay still. Rapid movement scares a rattlesnake. If you move real slow and gentle, that doesn’t seem to bother them.”

I’ll try and remember that if I ever fall on a pile of rattlesnakes, I’ll try real hard. Yup.
It’d be a lot more impressive nekkid. IMHO.
“The snakes crawled under his arms, between his legs and anywhere else
they could slither, Bibby said. None bit him.”
This guy must have a day-job as a lawyer.
(No flames please; my lawyer friends would laugh at that as well)
“Don’t need no (*^&(&^*(^*(^ snakes on no (*^&(&^*(^*(^ tub!”
Step-son and friend hold the record for the largest rattler in our county. The local rag has a pic.7’2” without the head.He and his friend was upset that they had killed it.he knew it would be worth a lot more alive.
He hunted them for money as they were paid by the pound....Until Mom went to clean his room. She heard this sound coming from under a makeshift table which the base was a five gallon bucket.Bad JuJu!!!
Come to find out,he was very allergic to snake venom. When he threw the big snake over a fence, even though the snake was dead, the snake’s fangs got him.He almost died. The anti-venom was worse than the bite itself.Imagine your whole body swelling up like a Pumpkin. At least that is what it looked like to me.
Just talked to son and he said Rattlers were going for six dollars a pound.[Circa:eighty’s].Had to drive to Colorado City,TX.,with at least one hundred pounds to make it worthwhile.Dead ones did not count.
