Sunday Night Football on NBC is annoying
Posted on 11/04/2007 5:15:12 PM PST by hercuroc
First it's Keith Olbermans stupid jokes and smarmy attitude-now tonight they have a green football game and dim the lights to save power.
I just want to watch football not be preached to.
That's all

call me a heretic...but I liked Bob Costas when he called baseball game. I liked all these a-holes when all they did was sports. No longer possible. Of course, it's their "right" to speak, and it's my "right" to "click".

What do you expect? Dallas is playing Philly. What are Phillys colors? GREEN and whiite. Well, at least now they are Green. This blog suggests that they were named after the Blue Eagles

Olberdork is annoying and everyone seems to be pandering green for the sweeps period, but nothing is worse than SeeBS AFC broadcasts. Well, they did allow some football to interrupt the flow of commercials today, so I guess I cant complain too much.

Couldn’t have been so bad as watching ABC’s NASCAR coverage. Rusty is terrible. The whole thing is a mess.

I also think it is high time that there is a gay play by play announcer, someone really queer Why isnt Al Franken there too?
Not to nitpick, but that was redundant.

A lot of people were I work like the lights to be off. I like them on because it is a safety issue and like to see what I am doing. One even turns off the lights in the stairwell.

They have football on TV on Sunday nights?
Wow, next thing ya’ know somebody will put it on Monday night.
:-)
I think the baseball thing is over now - some eastern team with socks beat a team from out west, they must have been barefoot.

True dat! And a Navy vet.
The bonus is that I have yet to forgive the doomers for the 10-10 tie in ‘66 vs MSU, so I relish every one of their losses. My brother tells me that was 41 years ago and that I need to get over it.
I suppose he’s right . . . . but . . . . .

I did not know that. Named for a piece of failed legislation, eh? It explains why the Eagles are bad. Occassionaly they are great, a couple of times they were near-super. Most of the time they are good. and a lot of times they are bad. And on some occassions, they are horrible. But what ever what color they are, the Dallas Cowboys have owned them nearly from day one. Great game last night.
Oh, and BTW:
GO COWBOYS!!!!! !

Right on! They played to win and Jabba didn’t.
Doomer fans have to wonder why he did not even try a FG. It must have been those scematics he’s been talking about.

Yeah, but they still had those big, lit-up ads, and they used multiple cameras, which apparently take up their fair share of power...
Though I still didn’t know what they were doing with the igloo thing, I was too busy laughing at the whole thing to pay attention.

I’m thinking about doing some recreational mining. Do you have some Picks I can borrow? I think I need five. Thought I’d hop on a Baby Horsey and ride up to Manning Moratorium.

This is the first Sunday in my memory that I did not watch a football game at all.
