Sunday Night Football on NBC is annoying

Posted on 11/04/2007 5:15:12 PM PST by hercuroc

First it's Keith Olbermans stupid jokes and smarmy attitude-now tonight they have a green football game and dim the lights to save power.

I just want to watch football not be preached to.

That's all

All you can do is send letters to NBC telling them you change channels as soon as the sumbish comes on.

Why don’t they have britney spears at halftime, of every sunday night, and monday night game? That would increase female viewership, increase the audience, so the players could make more money? Also, the games are too short, some more commercials are needed... I also think it is high time that there is a gay play by play announcer, someone really queer...And if half the population of the country is female, why don’t any play?? Cut the whole score thing too, takes away from the drama, and awful confusing to the little female audience they do have, since “math is hard”.

Keith Olberman is the best, his leftist holier than though crap is especially entertaining when the game is too close to call, and some comedy needs to be inserted. Why isn’t Al Franken there too?

Totally agree. I turned on extra lights just to counteract their stupidity.

I am with you. Costas does not bother me too much. But I am certainly not watching a network that puts on a nut like Obermann.

The Packers are 7 - 1 with virtually no running game. I don’t know how they’re doing it but they are at the top of the NFC, which is so wide-open this year that they have a legitimate shot.

I truly cannot believe the network bigwigs don’t understand that their ratings and profits began heading for the cellar the second they started pandering to old hippies.

Hey execs, here’s a clue: There aren’t all that many of them, they’re just loud.

I will suffer through NBC for three hours and that’s it. And its only to see the Iggles get stuffed on national TV. But after the game is over, they can take their ‘green’ and stuff it back whether they pulled it out off.

“...A green football game?...”

What do you expect? Dallas is playing Philly. What are Philly’s colors? GREEN and whiite.

Three of the five shows I watch are on NBC, but they are not for everyone: Heroes, Journeyman, and The Bionic Woman. The other two are on SciFi, owned by NBC. Nothing else appeals to me aside from sports. I wonder how people will react to the new “green” 24 they announced over the summer.
