From the video, it doesn’t operate anything like my design.
It appears the foot controls are like motorcycle gear-shift levers, left toe for left side advance, right heel for right side retreat, gives you a turn.
It also seemed to need a lot of hydraulic pressure. I think that’s why he stopped and revved the engine for a while.
Still, the articulation of the legs was interesting, and functional. It also looked very like a spider, if that is your intent. It could be scaled up and costumed, and would make a very convincing horror conveyance.

I hope you had a good night. You sounded exhausted! I was thoroughly exhausted, my head swimming. Much better today, thanks, even if I was awake at 3 AM, then AWAKE! at 4 AM. But getting into the office at 6 AM, and leaving the "browsing" computer off today let me get a LOT of work off my plate. Monday I've got a couple of hours of work (expense report from last trip and document preparation for the next), then I can start in on another magazine article... and head out of the office until next year.
