My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

no, lets stay up and watch some old movies, eat popcorn and I’ll make Hot Chocolate for all of us!
Movie will be entire sets of L.O.R., Star Wars, and Die Hard. We’re good till dawn, at least! Then we’ll head off to the coffee shop for a bit more work on the book, anyone wanna come along?

Good morning everyone.
Today, is a good day to bake Banana Nut Bread.
Last night, I watched the old movies, and Larry King,
Wayne Newton was on showing some scenes of his visiting our Troops, in Afghanistan.
He has done this for years and so well deserves a cheer.
so Thank You, Wayne, for remembering them.

Ah, a partridge in a pear tree, lovely, So glad you are feeling better.
I was thinking about Christmas decorations too. I have so many of them and I love them all. I would like to display them all but a few will have to do.

I don’t have a tree ..I just decorate the bookcases and table tops..I have lights out to work into an old staircase swag I place on the built-in bookcase cabinets top...That will be the challenge..to try to hide the wires.
At least I did not have to dig everything out of the large moving boxes on the floor..I reorganized and labeled my Christmas boxes this year and greenery and put everything up so I would not have to bend down and hunt around anymore.

Great photo Tom, thanks so much. I really have a lot of respect for Wayne Newton, he travels with the USO and has done so for years.
In 2001, while he was in Afghanistan, he was hit with a virus in his lungs/maybe heart, which has affected him to the point he cannot do much physical stuff- strains his heart.
