My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

My pleasure for sure. I appreciate you folks coming to the Lair.
Notice Tom calls it the Lard.
To: Soaring Feather
She had a tomcat after her..and she was young..My SIL is the one who discovered the kittens in the compost pile and finally brought them in after watching for the mother..He put food out to entice her back..No shelter is going to take one week old kittens..so it was up to us..

Yes, that’s true, poor little helpless critters. My daughter raised feral kittens, she still has them, the mommy cat is blind now. Really beautiful cats.

Fuzzy things that take up space, eat a lot, mess up my bonsai planters thinking it just another cat box, an attitude wrapped in shedding fur with pretensions of importance. Them Kats!

Cats like Sassy the First who "sprayed" my hand seqioned and embroidered Christmas tree skirt made by my mother in law and also sprayed my husband's suitcase as he got ready for a trip.. Then there was the wall of drapes he climbed.. .He lived 15 years..amazing case of survival..LOL I adored him.
My latest is a rescue and did not go through the kitten stage with me..She is so easy going and doesn't create havoc. She owns me, though.

Here she is playing surrogate mom to one of the kittens. She stole our hearts.
