[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

A "Poem"  from

my "voices".......

 

 

A fart it is a pleasant thing,

It gives the belly ease,

It warms the bed in winter,

And suffocates the fleas.



A fart can be quiet,

A fart can be loud,

Some leave a powerful,

Poisonous cloud.



A fart can be short,

Or a fart can be long,

Some farts have been known

To sound like a song......



A fart can create

A most curious medley,

A fart can be harmless,

Or silent , and deadly.



A fart might not smell,

While others are vile,

A fart may pass quickly,

Or linger a while......



A fart can occur

In a number of places,

And leave everyone there,

With strange looks on their faces.



From wide-open prairie,

To small elevators,

A fart will find all of

Us sooner or later.



But farts are all bad,

Is simply not true-

We must never forget.......

Sweet old farts like you!

The Cat Comes & Does His Cat Things

I thank him for that. I stroke his fur & he purrs. He stretches & stretches his stretches. He vainly attempts to knead my belly into some sort of shape that a cat can take a nap in. But my belly fat defeats him. He gives in & naps on my lap. He turns over like a motor like a sleep & purr generator. After an hour he deigns to wake & with a smikr on his face allows me to feed him. I'm grateful to my cat for being a cat & for doing whatever & whenever the mood takes him. Dónall Dempsey

We Love Tiger Cats

I can't believe it..I slept 12 hours last night..It's tiring hauling
the Kleenex around I guess. Lovely poetry awaits more careful

It’s fascinating to watch a cat stalk. You never see them so patient as then. And concentrate, they must save it all up for hunting.

We've actually had her almost two weeks now.

She made herself at home within 3 hours of being brought home; and she certainly has taken over the house hold.....seems she's an Alpha queen.

"TRubble dives under the floor mat and catches his prey”
TRubble was mine to give the bottle to after his feral mother abandoned him and his 4 brothers and sisters when they were one week old at my daughter's and SIL's house..He fought the bottle and was hardest to feed..He is the biggest cat now and still the baddest and funniest. They kept all 5 kittens. Taking care of those kittens was more demanding than a new baby.
