If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

    High Holy Days

Snow so softly falls silent out of the ebony sky
a blanket of forgetfulness over autumn's litter
and small lights strung challenges the stars above
lighting the season on porch, window, and trees
I smile as I walk tonight, for even sadness flees
for now we will celebrate the Season of His Dove
remembering what he would accept for us so bitter
and in doing so, set even my old sad soul to fly

    WOW, talk about your ‘slugabeds’!
I’m here at the coffee shop, (got here at 5:30) got my favorite seat by the fireplace, and starting in on another chapter in my book and another coffee.
Outta those racks, and grab your socks.

You’re not sleeping much I take it. I go into fits at different times of the year regarding sleep, sometime she comes and sometime she gets lost out there-—somewhere.

Beautiful, Esmeralda. Glad you have a new cat. She looks a little like the original “Fat Cat.”

To: Soaring Feather
    Yeah, me too!
"Rotten kid" & I had a HELL of a time talking Mom into letting us adopt her.
She's 3 years old; her papers SAY she weights 10 lbs (seems more like 18-20). She's a sweetie, & KRAZY, too!

That’s great you got an older cat, often times people don’t want them. To me it makes sense, kittens can really tear up a place-been there done that.
She has a good home with you and Rotten Kid! Mom, will like her too, but she may not show it. ;0)
Gotta wonder why the previous owner let her go. Maybe they moved into a place that does not allow animals. Or well, they all sorts of reasons.
Nice cat Tom!

To: Soaring Feather
She even has her "own" necklace!

Oh she is really pretty, love the buff color on her neck. Oh cool, a cat with her own special necklace.

To: tomkow6
Now that is a Classy Kat, you got a real character there, one look in those eyes tell me that!

"Youre not sleeping much I take it"

I have a new Sleep Number bed, and the time I do sleep is
incredible. No more backaches from my old back injury,
and I wake up so rested, I go for hours with ease.

Over the last three months, I've seen such a huge change in Nancy
and I from the quality of sleep we're getting and the energy we're
bringing to all we do. I seriously suggest anyone who wants
to see what their like, go to a Radison Hotel and try one!

You know that really makes sense, I mean the number of firmness or softness for each individual.
My mattress is hotel firm - was bought new in the 80’s and is like a rock still. I do have a space age mattress thingy which goes on top of the mattress, that helps. I have a water bed frame and do not wish to give it up, cause it has four storage drawers for whatever. I need those drawers. Old homes do not come with closets.
Well, glad you two are finding relief.

Come stalking, come stalking, my pristine and perfect Cat. Come sly, silent, and with deadly intention, to kill with a cool, breath-taking invention. My diabolic and quixotical Cat!
Come stalking, come stalking, my proud and imperious Cat. Whose sleek, solitary, yet sensual existence, so enjoys her intense tit-for-tat persistence, to toy with the tortured rat!
Come stalking, come stalking, my vain and inviolate Cat. My immune and disdainful Cat! In her predatory crimes, (though she's fed all the time) , she's the terrorist trained as a diplomat!
Come stalking, come stalking, my aloof and impervious Cat. My mysterious and murderous Cat! Though her manoeuvres in law are a legal cats-paw, she still sprawls on the roof of the caveat.
Come stalking, come stalking, my lordly, near insolent Cat. My miraculous and mythical Cat! Whose mystique and idolatry is the elegant exemplary of stealth and lethal fiat.
