My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Didn’t know the poem as a child but I swung high to see the fields and the cows. This poem brought back beautiful childhood memories.

We had two days of rain..and not much sun for days before so I was ready. I am getting more good nuthatch sightings..Perhaps it or they are feeling more secure.

I am home resting and chomping at the bit. During Thanksgiving and Friday my coffee consumption was way down from what it normally is (160 oz.). I am not sure if the restlessness was due to the startup of drinking coffee on Saturday (but only 1/2 of a pot). Could be the effects of caffeine withdrawal but I do not have any nervous twitching. Today, I have already consumed almost a full pot and my headache is gradually diminishing. We will see how the rest of the day goes.

Whenever the moon and stars are set,
Whenever the wind is high,
All night long in the dark and wet,
A man goes riding by.
Late in the night when the fires are out,
Why does he gallop and gallop about?
Whenever the trees are crying aloud,
And ships are tossed at sea,
By, on the highway, low and loud,
By at the gallop goes he.
By at the gallop he goes, and then
By he comes back at the gallop again.

Oh good on the nuthatch sightings. Sometimes I can see them in the huge trees across the street. I have binoculars, but never think to get them out.
Birds are such a good topic to bring people together, I found Tomkow6 that way. ROTFLOL

It has been reported that caffeine withdrawal can cause headaches. Keeping on drinking.

No, you sweat and shook that all out with the fever. Water, NYA, you need to drink water, get those meds out of your system -flush, you need to flush. Did they not tell you that?? I'll get the redheaded nurse out after you!

The Land of Nod
From Child's Garden of Verses
From breakfast on through all the day
At home among my friends I stay,
But every night I go abroad
Afar into the land of Nod.
All by myself I have to go,
With none to tell me what to do--
All alone beside the streams
And up the mountain-sides of dreams.
The strangest things are these for me,
Both things to eat and things to see,
And many frightening sights abroad
Till morning in the land of Nod.
Try as I like to find the way,
I never can get back by day,
Nor can remember plain and clear
The curious music that I hear.
Robert Louis Stevenson
