[Soaring Feather]

My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...

And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Been there. Currently chilling to the long version of the Chambers Brothers "Time has come today".

Actually, my wife, Nancy and I took the day off, and simply did as little as we could. After church we went to the local coffee shop and sat by the fireplace, read books and drank coffee.

As for you, get well, take time to follow orders and build up your strength. (Trust me, you need strength to party the holidays away properly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Sounds like you had an enjoyable day. We all need that on ocassion to lay back and rest / chill out by our own choice and not from being under-the-weather.

I will most certainly try to get back to where I was before the infection,

I have mellowed out somewhat due to age. My days of knee walking, sn*t-slinging, commode-hugging drunk are just about over. LOL

Good morning Lairites. Hope that everyone slept well. Last nights bed rest (for lack of a better term) was fitful. My eyes were closed but the mind was racing constantly, must be one of the side effects of the Cipro. That is so unlike me for when go to bed I fall asleep immediately. The sun is shining and the temps are moderate. Hope that all is well with everyone.
