a line drawing of the image shows interpretation of the natural and engraved parts. i) the line of the dome of the head and the back, ii) the face and trunk, iii) the eye and iv) the tusks. Sections indicated by the arrowed lines A and B most clearly show human workmanship. Drawing: Graham Mullan. Photo: Mullan, Andrew Atkinson, and Steve Cottle.

Don’t look like no mammoth I ever saw.
Mammoth au gratin?
So easy a caveman can do it!
A mammoth once bit my sister
Mammothroni and cheese was very popular during the last Ice Age.
I think I saw Rachael Ray fix that once.
Interesting article-thanx for the post.”This is a clear representation of an animal.”Hmmm.....I don’t see it,but considering the caves were inhabited in ancient times,i assume that’s where you’d find that kind of stuff.
I think I saw Rachael Ray fix that once.

In 30 minutes, no less.
The photo on the page is pretty good, this drawing was supposed to be more illuminating though. :’)

I’m far more impressed with the drawing’s perfectly straight spears (some with two tips) ;-)

Thanx for pic:)

I followed Rachael’s recipe. I used one medium skinless, boneless mammoth and had leftovers for months......
Forget the mammoth, I want to hear more about these ‘cheddar’ caves!
The surgeon who did that should be horse-whipped.
