Wow, those little robots were cooool!

I'd like to have one :) I'll take the one in camouflage, guarding the net.

Did anyone else think it was odd how Phil told Team Hernia about their prize? "You've won a, uh, electric vehicle."

No pictures of this vehicle, no name, no description.

So glad TK and Rachel are still in the race. Teams have come from behind to win and I sure hope they do.

I'm left coast. =)

Got home from the party and prepared to enjoy TAR. My recorder didn't want me to have any more merriment. =( Imagine my disappointment.

Thanks for the recap but tell me about the robots, they look cool.

I’ve got it stored on TiVo for viewing later but I don’t mind being spoiled. Tell me - did Nate and Jen tell Ron and Christina that since they’ve already come in first once, they now should step aside and let Nate and Jen have their turn?

Reveling in the Schadenfreude of Nate and Jen not getting first AGAIN!

Yeah, that was strange. I thought he said Lexus. My wife said, no, he said electric. When they didn't show a image of it, my wife speculated that it was a golf cart.

No they didn’t, thank God! Haven’t disliked a team this much since Victoria and Jonathan!

I’m simply heartsick at the thought of these two jacka$$es winning TAR - and I’m thinking since people really turn off the show when disliked teams win(read: Flo/Zach; Freddie/Kendra; Eric/Danielle), I can’t help but wonder if they aren’t getting the best edit possible.

Of course, as you said, NOTHING will be worse than those famewhores Jonathan and Victoria, who really believed that everyone wanted to see them on All-Stars and stated, I swear, on another forum, that it could not possibly be called All-Stars if they weren’t on it.

To which I reply - if there was any husband/wife all-star team that deserved to be there and wasn’t, Jonathug, it was Frank and Margarita - Season 1 - the greatest kick-butt husband/wife team of all time (and that includes “Rambah”)

From CBS's official summary and it was strange that no brand name was mentioned.

For their win, the duo each received an electric vehicle that seats four, is environmentally safe and is perfect for getting around town. On their success, Christina remarked, "The fact that my dad and I got along today helped us come in first place without a doubt."

Of course she had to tell him to knock off his complaining about the cab dropping them off at the wrong door at the airport in India. She exerted better control over him early. Maybe she is learning.

I believe Victoria was pregnant at the time of filming the first all star version. She was nice, but Jonathan was a jerk. The irony of their season on the race was the leg they were eliminated on (I think it was in Ethiopia, Africa and he “only” took one donkey instead of two which cost them dearly) was the one where he was on his best behavior.

Over at Sucks, by the way, someone was advising that TAR 13 would be another Family Edition - sounds to me like they’re trying to put another one together fast for airing and U.S. locales would be the easiest.

However, if true, my only thought is....oh god, no....please, NO kids, okay?

That was a fun looking challenge. Gramps & Grandson had to control two little robots by using cellphones. They each had to get their robot to kick a little soccer ball into the goal. (The goals were also protected by little robots, operated by Japanese experts with more advanced remote controls.)

Grandson figured his out fairly quickly, but Gramps' bot spent most of it's time on it's back--lol. With a little coaching, Gramps finally (miraculously) got his bot to slowly roll the ball into the goal :)

Probably is. The recap said it "seats four", but going by what Phil said, I was thinking it was one of those worthless Segway things.

please, NO kids, okay?

Amen.

An all-US edition of TAR might be a good idea, just as long as they go to interesting places and keep the challenges challenging.

Remember the challenges in the Family Edition? "Get a clue from Bob at the gas station." "Search the trailer park for your next clue." LOL

Gotta do SOMETHING to fill in the writer’s strike gap - I think the idea is to make us sick of reality TV.

“Will they show us how?”

“PLAY!!”

“Guess not.”

That was so funny! Now that my goths are gone I’m rooting for either of the generational teams.

I like Team Gramps because he admits he isn’t so physical but tries so hard and I like to see grandson readily carrying his load with such a good attitude.

Team Hernia is such a hoot. Hernia is so frustrating but who doesn’t have one or two family or friends like that in their life? Here daughter is in the race of her life in confusing Osaka and Hernia wants to stop and rant about the cab driver letting them off in the wrong place. She does NOT want to hear it. But thing is, as I notice so often, the oldster is absolutely right. He should have received good service for his good money. He just no longer gets the concept of come on! Hurry up! Get on with it! Forget it! He wants justice before he goes on. I’ve dealt with people like that. You want to kill them even though they have a valid point.

(((TAR Ping)))

Sorry, Guys, I'm Not Happy to See You

All one Racer wants for her birthday is a spot in the Final 3…will her birthday wish be granted? The gloves come off as one Team tries to convince an airline employee to not sell tickets to another Team. Will the employee comply? One team becomes the brunt of attacks and criticism from another team.

The race resumes tonight at 8pm EST, after football and 60 Minutes

As always, if you want on or off this ping list, just let me know.

You might want to re-think that since someone is going to have top clean it up.
