Football Play-by-play...a little help, please -- (vanity)

Dozens of FReepers undoubtedly know this, but, sadly, yr hmbl srvnt does not.

Seems to me that I recall an online site, perhaps ESPN or ABC, where one can ''watch'' a graphical play-by-play of virtually any football game.

The game one is ''watching'' features a display of a field, where the ball is spotted and where it moves on each play, with a description of the play just run.

Many thanks in advance for any and all help, and FReegards!

Don't know where my mind's going. Used to use this site a couple of years ago, and now can't recall it.

I think it is this one. You will have to check during the game though. It’s format looks right for the one I remember using a couple of years ago.

The one I use sounds like what you're describing. I use it for NFL games.

It's at www.espn.com. Then you click "NFL" or whatever it is you want. When you get that, click "Scoreboard." It tracks the games live, showing a field like you described and doesn't use a lot of bandwidth.
