Why do you think I avoid those threads these days. I have enough stress in my life without working on generating some more! Relax, Darks. You’re among friends here...or family, as the case may be.

I know.
But it irritates me, as a former soldier, to see these idiots dribbling their nasal effluvium all over.

Yeah, I know. But consider the source. "Idiots" is the operative word here.
Gotta run. Got a sweet, handsome man waiting for me.
Y'all be good, and have fun.

In the spirit of harmony, I have redacted Pup's statements to be more truthful......
He said: I can look at any woman of any age and see her beauty at its pinnacle, both inside and out.
Truth prevailing, he was really saying: I can look at any woman of any age and see her beauty at its pinnacle her as beautiful cause I can't see, both either inside and out.....cause the hot, flat, ugly clime around me has addled my brain.....
*Bowing*...........:-)
The "great SEC" has been displayed as a fraud.......

Tonight I’ve been bombarded by a poster playing tons ‘o’ tunes and the last 3 days I’ve been wrestling kidney stones. I wasn’t avoiding you and don’t remember the pings.

Wow. Look at the beak on that guy!
Small wonder he’s a comic!

LOL! I need a second cuppa java, before I look at that again!

The guy with the weird mustache is “Abdulcanbaz” a famous Turkish comic book character.
See what you learn here on DD.

Here is Abdulcanbaz again - that is what mummies should look like. But I leave such things to Darks.
Of course, I am interested in the Egyptian Hieroglyphs.

To: Cardhu
I am interested in the Egyptian Hieroglyphs. Not very authentic are they?
The satyr isn't Egyptian. And the as to the woman on her hands and knees to his left? There is only one surviving image like that, natural style, rather than the wide shoulders/profile typical of Pharaonic times.
It is, of course, in an engineering text...

Nully, do you still have your pocket protector? Of course the satyr is not Egyptian, he exists only in “Nully´s Dream”
I do understand how a woman on her hands and knees brings to mind an engineering text. Stoking your fire indeed. :)
Actually, I happen to have the Rosetta Stone - I bought it in the Feria in Sada a few years ago.

Nully, do you still have your pocket protector? Nope. No pockets on my t-shirts.

It's from an early text about smelting. Not a true classic like De Re Metallica but an important illustration of an engineer's desire for accurate drawings, as opposed to stylistic conventions...

Interesting work. Is it contemporary?
