Yesterday wasnt about who was fit and healthy during the regular season ...ahem... uh, Appalachian State... uh, Oregon... although Henne, Hart, Long, Manningham were all healthy for the Appalachian State and Oregon games :) It was about successfully executing a game plan. It was about Big Blue trying to regain a little face after the whoopin they suffered in last years Rose Bowl or the Alamo Bowl the year before or the back-to-back Rose Bowl loses the two years before that... Its been a long dry spell and you have every reason to be happy and enjoying the win. Still, I couldnt help but notice that Big Blue wasnt able to stop Tebow or Harvin.
I'm just teasin ya :) Congratulations! I'm happy for you:)
You rang? :)
I fell out of my chair when Rush referred to the dems running for the nomination as: Mr & Mrs Bill Clinton, Mr & Mrs Barack Obama, Mr & Mrs John Edwards LOL
LOL! I was just wonderng what everybody was up to today. Not too many of us around. A little too much bubbly Monday night?
Yesterday was bowl games and brunches LOL More of the same to follow until next Monday night and the BCS game, LSU vs Ohio State. Or, as its called locally, "The 'ship" FOFLOL
Today, its really cold (freezing, actually) for this part of the country, as you well know, a good day to stay inside. So, I've just been trying to get caught up on some things workwise.
I was just reading about your allergic reaction. What a bummer. Bad enough for that to happen at any time, even more so on your vacation and at the holidays. But, it sounds like your in Good hands... so to speak :) Any idea what you had the reaction to?
On time as usual - perhaps you can tell me if you hear music on my post about KITTENS I know you don´t have the program to read the other two PP Presentations.
I haven't set foot out of the house for the past 2 days, partly because of the weather, and partly because I look like crap from the swelling in my face. It seems to be improving gradually, but not fast enough. I'm still concerned about what caused it. It would be nice to avoid contact with the source in the future. I hope I am able to make myself look presentable by tomorrow because I am supposed to go out for lunch with my supervisor/friend.
K... I’ll look for that one :)
Wish I knew. We had it narrowed down to a spider bite, something on the firewood that I touched and then put my hands on my face or a coating on some of the packing paper I used to get the fire started that night that could've caused a chemical allergic reaction. Nothing else was any different than usual. Most allergic reactions can be treated fairly quickly. What is so disturbing about this is the lingering nature of it. It is going on 48 hours now and there is still some residual effect. The inside of my uper lip an the inside of my right cheek is tender to touch, which is also odd.
There is music with the Kitties one. It came in on windows media player. Haven’t checked the other ones out yet.
Sheeeeeeesh, I hope you start feeling better, Libby. That’s the pits, and on vacation too. :(
Thanks gran.
Sorry, Cardy. Nothing happens, I clicked the link seveal times but got no response of any kind. :(
Did you click the Kitten link? It is about 4meg so may take a minute to download.
Gran tells me she can hear it fine.
I hope you can fix the link. I love Chopin and didn’t know there is a music festival in Verbier. Lovely place
Maybe you don´t have Window´s Media Player either
I tried it several times but I’ll give it another try, this time with a measure of patience :)
There is nothing wrong with the link grannie can see and hear it - Sweets and Yorkie can see it but they have a problem with the sound.
Grannie can see and hear all three Powerpoint Presentations too
Oh, yes, I’m pretty sure I have Window’s Media Player
Nope, still nothing happening.
