Anybody know if Zyrtec is a decongestant or an antihistamine?

Zyrtec is an antihistamine.

You got allergy problems, sweets? My daughter does also...it’s kicking up again, pretty badly, here in NY. : (

"You got allergy problems, sweets?"

See above about my New Year's Eve misadventures. My face is still swollen and puffy today. I have some Zyrtec, just wasn't exactly sure if it was decongestant or antihistamine. Need to try it. The Benadryl just isn't getting it, besides knocking me out.

Wow....sounds awful, sweets. Sorry about that. Hope it clears up soon. I’m not sure if I read that that Zyrtec may also cause drowsiness.

Actually, I never had any problem with the Zyrtec making me sleepy. Benadryl, on the other hand, knocks me on my butt.

I can’t remember what Benadryl does to me...but Dimetapp used to do that, now, it’s like drinking 4 mountain dews....talk about “wired”.

Thanks. ME TOO! Sure put a damper on the romance for the evening....unless you count his laughing at me as romantic. He seems to get a lot of amusement at my expense. In all fairness to him, he was attntive...when he wasn't laughing. I HAVE to get over this befoe Friday! I cannot spend another evening/night like that! And this is our last weekend together before I have to go back to work. Argh! Sure doesn't feel like I've had two weeks off.

Well, I could use something that wired me up. I’ve got to run some serious damage control after all the rich food, chocolate, aduilt beverages, etc. that I’ve consumed the past couple of weeks. Got to be back in great shape by 2/2 so that I look good in that black silk dress! It isn’t helping laying around and sleeping. Need to be up working out....extra hard! I’ve got the time the rest of this week, so there’s really no excuse except that all I can’t think about is taking a nap....oh, and having to go back out in the freezing cold to bring in some more firewood before I burn up the last couple of pieces I have in the house.

You cannot do your body good by trying to exercise while it is fighting an invader within.....let your immune system work on the allergy (or whatever problem)....because, as your immune system is now heavily occupied with the one problem, it is possible you will become very ill with something else....not enough immune defenses available.

(You can lose weight some other way than becoming too sick to eat, : )

In my experience, regular working out seems to build up my immune system. I’ve been working out regularly for two years, but since Christmas Eve, I’ve only worked out maybe 3 days. Makes me wonder if that isn’t at least in part why I was vulnerable to whatever it was.

A PowerPoint Presentation with music of the Lighthouses in wild weather on the NW coast of France.

This one advances automatically, if the music stops after the first slide backup to the first slide.

Don´t forget to right click and select full screen.

Sentinelles de l'Iroise

It will take about a minute to download.

I agree, working out when well is great. But when you’re not well, and your body is already fighting something, it needs the energy to focus on getting better, not expended on the energy needed for physical exercise, imo.

Whine? Considering the long, ongoing Southern squeeling for several years, you must understand this is simply business........

:-)

I just want my hard earned bonuses......perhaps I should put a lien on Nully's checks.......

Either way, you should whine as you eat that early crow.........

Beau. Sont-ils vos kitties ? Une nouvelle année très heureuse, à vous et au vôtre !

I wish I could have gotten the music, but, my computer is on it’s last leg, and I felt lucky to see the pictures!

Non, et une nouvelle année tres heureuse à vous aussi

It is a pity you could not hear the music as it went well with their playfulness.
