Well, even I have to admit that we aren’t quite as, as, as whatever, as the Darks family...
Excellent!
This means that the world won’t end in 2007!
Are you really certain it hasn’t?
Happy New Year, Cardy.
Well, theres that. LOL No small blessing for sure.
You be careful out there, Cardy. Them wimmin can get a bit wild when they’ve been tipping the bubbly! Have fun.
I was wondering the same thing! He's just a tad bit too frisky, if ya know what I mean.
Dang, gran! Sounds yum but thats a lot of kitchen/grill time.
GMTA :)
Thanks, Darlin'. They're nuts, but I love 'em. Proves I come by it honest. Yes, sis is the tall one. I took after Dad. He's only 5'6". Funny, cuz most of his brothers are tall. His mom was short; so was my other grandma.
"These pics were taken at their famous "redneck" wedding salon bar?"
LOL! Yep. That'd be the place. Sister's bf is the preacher. Here's the famous porch. It wraps around the full length of 2 sides of the building. That particular wedding was on the side on your left. There's another one scheduled for 6:30 this evening. I expect that one wil be INSIDE, given how cold it's been.
.
Me, too!. I stopped doing "Big" crowded New Year's parties years ago. Now, I drop by a couple of parties at friend's homes, usually for about 30 minutes. Then each year, I/we end the evening at one home for a beautiful sit-down dinner. The same group of friends have been doing this for a while. The location rotates, so one person/couple only hosts the dinner once every 5 or 6 years.
You look a lot like your father.
According to most Dems it already ended when Bush stole the election in 2000.........
How can we make insane assylums for that many people?
Whoa, Sweets. Thems may be fightin words.....
:-)
Nooooooo, indeed, not at all. Her father looks adorable and sweet tempered in that photo... plus he looks to be close to the same height as sweet :) .
or is that the Mogen David gene?
Yes, I do. My dad was a very striking man when he was young.
.
Well, he IS taller than me, but he is exactly the same height as R. Funny how that works out.
Actually, my mom was a beautiful woman too, but she had a "difficult temperament.
Hillary says she risked life on White House trips LINK
Glenn Thrush,December 31, 2007VINTON, Iowa - Ever since Barack Obama suggested Hillary Clinton's eight years as first lady were a glorified tea party a few days back, she's looked for an opening to strike back.
On Saturday night in Dubuque she pounced, arguing she risked her life on White House missions in the 1990s, including a hair-raising flight into Bosnia that ended in a "corkscrew" landing and a sprint off the tarmac to dodge snipers.
"I don't remember anyone offering me tea," she quipped.
The dictum around the Oval Office in the '90s, she added, was: "If a place was too dangerous, too poor or too small, send the first lady."
It turns out that Clinton wasn't quite flying solo into harm's way that day.
She was, in fact, leading a goodwill entourage that included baggy-pants funnyman Sinbad, singer Sheryl Crow and Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, then 15, according to an account of the March 1995 trip in her autobiography "Living History."
As the plane approached the runway, the pilot ordered the Clintons into the armored front of the plane, Clinton writes.
What's not clear is whether Sinbad or Crow were invited to the cockpit or had to brave it out in the unprotected rear.
What a bold, unconscionable liar she is. NO White House has ever, nor would ever, implement a policy such as that. Moreover, if this trip was SO dangerous, why did she knowingly expose her only child to that kind of danger? She is despicable. I hope Obamy squashes her like a bug.
