My daughter is seeing a guy from Tennessee that she met playing games online. She brought him up to Louisville this past week, too. Tried to get a picture of them together, but the batteries crapped out on my camera and I didn’t have a spare at the time. So much for that. Didn’t get a single picture of the kid this trip. She was supposed to be at the bar later that night, but they never made it and she had to get a flight to Denver the next day. I know she got some though, so I’m going to try and get her to send me some of hers. Sis misplaced her camera altogether and Dad’s pictures were awful.
My bad - I know I have seen a pic of your boyfriend. But until I saw the pictures together a couple of times they look pretty much alike.
You gals know the type you want. Both look very mature and lots of fun.
I know the feeling - my BIL has been in great places to take pics but he seems to have it on the wrong setting or moves the camera and messes up the pics. He has some good ones, but has messed up soooo many.
That is what happens when you don´t take many pics, you forget things.
That's what happened the other night. Some of the people we were hanging out with were trying to take pictures of some of the dancing shenanigans, but they kept screwing up the settings or forgetting to take the cover off the lens and such, so even though I have a few, they are poor over all. Some of them got accidentally set on the "video" setting, which is fine if you're actually trying to take videos, but if you're trying to catch a still picture, you just get a jumbled up mess.
Bad things just happen - luckily less and less with me.
I will be going out tonight to a home of one of the family members and hope to be back about 1 or 2 am. The young folk will be leaving for their parties about 1:30 until 9am tomorrow.
My daughter went with them once although she thinks she is an old lady. They go from bar to bar - can´t move because of the crush and the music is so loud you can´t have a conversation. How they can stand several hours of that is beyond me.
Definitely not my cup of tea! I just don't like peole all that much. LOL! And I HATE crowds.
There's a lot of New Year's Eve doin's in Eureka Springs tonight, but as far as I know, we're planning on staying in and having a nice, quiet dinner at home (mine)and catching up on the time I've been gone. I have faith that I can keep him up till midnight, though. 
Nice pics SL, how did your little sister get taller than you though? By the pic she looks about 5'8" or so, am I right, or did the pic accentuate her height?
The Tradition here is to eat one grape on each stroke of the clock at Midnight and drink the Champagne.
So at six-o-clock this evening your time (EST), I will be stuffing myself with grapes and huggin’ and kissin’ the ladies, making sure I keep my hands in neutral territory. :(
I think Sis is 5’6”. I am 5’1”. I think she was probably wearing heels. I have another picture from last visit where I was wearing heels and she was wearing flats and we didn’t look THAT different in height.
LOL! We both have good...or would that be "similar" taste? Mine's cuter, but hers is a nice looking guy. Both ride a Harley and are very good with their hands talented at woodworking and building. Ron is very good mechanically, too. Don't know about Duke, but I wouldn't be surprised.
Are you planning on mixing blue thingies for tonight?

Nope. No blue thingies tonight. We have both overdone a bit too much on the food and alcohol over the holidays. We are ready for a nice, light and healthy dinner with no alcohol. He's not much of a drinker anyway. I'm not either, really, but probably a little more than him.
I think I overindulged a bit myself until I got a cold just after Christmas.
A few days of being way too healthy have now paved the way for a last hurrah......
Meaning I'll have a couple of glasses of bubbly tonight........

Have a “grape” time tonight Cardy and try to stay sober enough to get yourself home without any fines or jail-time. ;) Watch those roadblocks.
I am making a grocery list now for our supper/NewYears/eatin. So far I’m making Shrimp Cocktail, Barbeque ribs, Cinnamon and Lemon fried chicken wings, with beans and Cole Slop.
We’ll probably eat fairly early and never make midnight. Sometimes we miss it by one hour...lol. Oh well,...no partying drunks to keep us up. Oh...unless it’s our neighbors across the canal with all the fireworks. They have fireworks for every little occasion down here and they’ll be going off most of the night.
