I like a good smooth whisky but it pains me to pay so much for the best - so a cheaper variety with orange juice used to be my Happy Hour drink.

But now, I drink very little as it is no fun when one is alone, and I have to look after my health these days. So I only drink when I am out with other people - other than that, it is Coca Cola Light.

Sometimes a smooth cognac when the spirit moves me - lol

A votre Santé.

Cardy, I think differently. Cause of meds, I’m not supposed to drink and that’s never been a problem because I was never much of a drinker.

Doc says I can have the occasional drink so I’ll have the best to make the experience worth it. Sure lasts a long time when it’s relegated to the treat category.

You are quite right - now that it is a sometime thing I can afford the best. After all my nom de plume is Cardhu which is not a bad whisky at all.

And I do like a good cognac too.

If they appeared on the American scene after 1994 then I can be forgiven.

Hmmmmm.

Go directly to the nearest video store. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

Rent or buy A Grand Day Out (1989).

Go home. View the same.

When and if you stop laughing, get back to us...

I will — it seems I am always continuing my education. But, if it is 1989 will it still be around? Maybe not over here.

It would be great if the big "O" put the stake in the heart of the slimey Clinton dynasty. More power to him.

I know some Dems up the road, they are considering voting for him. They don't think much of the Clintons either. I am gathering a lot of Dems are pondering this one.

That being said, we are supposed to vote here on Jan. 15, and I'm just not ready for this........

Are you supporting anyone yet?

Great idea — the chipping in part... perhaps you will have more success in that direction that I have had to date.
