Well...all’s well here for now; more snow due today....not terribly much came down last night, but in addition to the Nor’easter a’comin, this area will be getting what’s called the Lake effect....lots more snow in the area.

That was information posted for those interested in New England weather patterns for today.

: )

Good morning, nully. Emerged from the dungeon, I see.

Got coffee???

I had to run vinegar through my machine today (again) before I could have my cup. Got very hard water here...

I should probably go get some of that water....I have to keep tossing out the coffee pots every 4 months or so...there’s just no saving them.

Woody Woodpecker used to be one of my favorite cartoon shows while growing up.

Did you know that Woody Woodpecker appears in almost every George Pal film?

No. The Time Machine? War of the Worlds?

Not that I recall....

War of the Worlds, The gal is wearing a Woody Woodpecker pin on her sweater. Check the scene where they are trying to escape in the Piper Cub.

Time Machine, a girl is carrying a bag of toys in the pre-WWIII scene.

How funny; now, how did you know about this? Surely, you didn’t just “notice” it???

I'm making "special" hot chocolate on Friday night. Nully, did you try the "Seattle Fire and Ice" at Mud Street Cafe when you were here? I can't remember. It's the hot chocolate made with white chocolate, cinnamon and chai liqueur? I've gotten him addicted to it...accidentally, of course, but I'm going to try and make some this weekend. Had to special order the liqueur. Apparently it isn't a hot item, even in Eureka Springs. Picked it up yesterday. He said that the only way it could be better would be if it was made with dark chocolate, so I'm going to experiment with that and see if I can make it work. Don't know if that would be as smooth though. I have some white chocolate for back up, just in case. I'm also not sure how it will go with pizza...I suppose as a dessert drink with a couple of chocolate chip cookies, it will be okay, if we wait a bit after the pizza.

GOOD! I think you will be happy with results. And it beats the heck out of being dependent on a pill anyway.

"Woody Woodpecker used to be one of my favorite cartoon shows while growing up."

Mine too! Along with Popeye, Huckleberry Hound, Pixie and Dixie, Quick Draw McGraw and, of course, Yogi Bear.

Quick Draw McGraw

I liked him too...and that rooster who was always followed around by his grandson (?)...the little chicken who wore glasses....

Dunno. I heard about it years and years ago. Didn’t know where in The Time Machine until I googled this morning to make sure I had the correct producer.

I doubt I would have noticed on my own. I’m a guy=oblivious...

No, because you’re a guy, you’re not oblivious to matters trivia. It seems guys are quite good at that....but oblivious to the less mundane matters so necessary, imho. (Holding trash can lid to head for incoming expected assaults : )
