Can anyone capture the light like those old time artists? My goodness they were fantastic.
Did you notice the shading on the baby’s face from the mother’s veil in that one you posted? I’ll bet you can even see the lace if you could see it up close.

Army's going to smarten up sooner or later. Who do you think they'll recruit?

One teacher I loved the most always said we have to paint all the time if we want to get good. Sounds funny but it’s true. They had nothing but a loft and maybe a stipend. No phone, no bus, no lights, and that’s one reason they got so good.
Good artist shared their talents as well. These days, most good artists go for the gold instead.
Things change and thanks to good grace of art lovers and looters we can still view them today.

Not sure, as the pickens on coaching are slim indeed.
The players can play, but their plays are based off of NFL pro style plays, and they aren’t structured for it.
Navy isn’t about to let go of anyone they have, Army would have to play uberninja to get anyone from them anyway.
And that isn’t likely.

Obviously something has to happen for them to start looking competitive. There are probably some sleepers they’ll try out till they find one who can do it.

Cardy, If I'm not mistaken this painting hangs in the Louvre, possibly the Prado but most likely Louvre. Its called the Virgin with Grapes or Madonna with Grapes... lol. Anyhow, the artist is Pierre Mignard.

True.
But it’ll be a longtime until they actually are competitive rather than ‘looking’ like it after they figure things out.

He’d probably not do as terrible a job as the current guy.

It’s highly likely that they’ll play better even if left alone. They will also keep Navy looking good for some time to come. Them and the Pats are keeping me happy.

The play of light is very beautiful. Although the colors are vivid they are warm not harsh because the lighting has a softening effect.

UNlikely.
What would be hysterical is if the Pats somehow managed to lose to the Giants.
That would be “Inconceivable!”

Hey, the Giants aren't so bad, I think it would be better if the Dolphins beat them.......
Oh, the irony.

At this point I don’t think the Giants are going to win.
