Thanks gran it seems I have solved the problem of the embedded sound versus the linked sound. I still don´t know how many people have a viewer.

The Mother and child with the grapes - I liked that one too, the child peering out from under her veil was delightful.

There is no auto play on this on it has to be clicked to move forward as explained in the post. But you did not get any sound. Did you back up to the first slide? Did you have your sound on?

Gran seems to have heard it.

No sound, even with backing up to the first slide, and the sound on.

More likely the subtle differences between MS Powerpoint for Windoze and MS Powerpoint for Mac.

Who but MicroSoft could make a program that isn’t even compatible with itself, and make money selling it?

Ahhhhhhhhh.....the Nullster has a MAC!

Then how does Doggie watch them? He doesn’t have any problems with the Vids, and he has a MAC.

Hmmmmmm.........

Oh you are on a Mac — then it may not be my fault. I suppose it was the same for the Beautiful Cities one I posted at #1751. Anyway, the pics would look good on a Mac. That was on a five second auto advance.

I know he has no problem with the vids but I don´t remember him commenting on the sound.

Doggie doubtless has a more modern Mac than I. I can’t even run the latest OS.

I got the black silk dress. It is a bit more revealing than I am accustomed to, and a tad out of my comfort zone, but if I can get past that, it is absolutely beautiful and looks great on me. I bought it off of ebay and they posted the size incorrectly, so it is a little too big in the back and shoulders, but it's an easy alteration, and at my height, I'm used to that, so I took it in yesterday.

Anyway, the pewter shoes are just not going to work with this, at least not this time of year. They are completely open. So now I'm looking for the perfect pair of shoes to wear with it and need y'all's opinion again. I want them to be dressy and sexy, but still be versatile eough to wear with other things. I've narrowed it down to 6 pairs. These first ones I just love the look of, but they are satin (not versatile) and not the quality of some of the others, so I question fit and comfort. The up side is that they are inexpensive enough that I wouldn't be out a lot if I ended up only wearing them with this dress.

The next 2 pairs I like because they're unique.

./font>

The next 2 I like because they are versatile....but not quite as dressy/sexy as the others.

./font>

./font>

Finally, and the ones I'm leaning toward, I like these because they are both sexy and versatile, although a little higher than I'm used to. The picture doesn't show much detail, but they are a sueded metallic leather.

If you want to WOW him the first looks best.

The second looks odd, I probably wouldn’t go fo them.

Third looks great.

Fourth, looks a bit school marm.

Fifth and sixth, good.

Ahah...love the dress and did right from the start.

Love the first shoes, they are perfect, and the last. The last shoes won’t be that high because they have a small platform. The ones in the middle aren’t dressy enough in my opinion, bwthdik in today’s world. ;)
