hum...
....sense of foreboding and depression"... I guess you can say that about some radical
fanatics, those especially suceptable to endless predictions from
in-know insiders and the media. The rest of us have taken a wait and see position. If he leaves, it means he didn't want to be here and so we're better off without him. Should that occur, he will go with my blessing for the grace he has displayed under relentless pressure and for 3 years of enjoyable football and winning seasons.

Heh.
Was just messing with you about my new antacid product........
Reality check: Chances that Les will be offered the job are only about 1 in 4 (there are other heavy candidates they are considering). I think they are 50/50 that he would accept the job if offered, and that percentage goes up if Pellini gets the Nebraska job.

LOL I think you’re probably right :) At this point, I’m looking forward to an LSU win over Tennessee. Matt Flynn, LSU QB, has a banged up shoulder and might not start or even play this weekend. That means the formerly chastised and suspended back-up QB, sophomore Ryan Perrilloux, may get the nod. Miles has kept him under wraps and away from the media this season. I suppose he can talk altought I don’t recall ever hearing him. FOFLOL

Storms? I hope they're not headed this way! I've got plans for the weekend, and they don't include storms! It was bright and sunny here today....supposedly in the 60's, though it felt a bit crisp for my liking. Windy though.

FOFLOL. Not to worry, I wasn't talking about that kind of storm. Dunno about up your way but its supposed to be nice here this weekend at least through Saturday, temps in the low/mid 70s but showers predicted for Sunday and Monday. Right now its 71-72 and getting a little cloudy but its been a lovely, sunny day til now :)

No, you should be safe until the weekend is over. From now through Mardi Gras, every weekend and some weekdays are busy and its wonderful when the weather stays nice. I love this time of the year.

LOL Ah, so, there you go, we've discovered one possible source of that free floating sense of dread.
Seriously, how come he was blocking your drive?

Because he's an ass. Parking in my neighborhood is very discourteous, even when there isn't a game at the local stadium.
There must have been a score of available spaces, including in front of the house he was actually visiting.
(The rule seems to be never park in front of where you will actually be. I think that's a way to buy a few minute's warning should the cops run a plate and connect it to a crime).
He took exception to the tone of my voice when I told him that I'd already called to have his car towed.
Said I couldn't talk to him like that.
I pointed out that I was indeed talking to him like that, and that I bloody well would continue to do so.
He dropped everything and started for me. I merely dialed 911 and waited...

Yowser, nully. Thats a bad start to your day, allright. So,.... ok, don’t just sit there... tell me, what happened after you dialed 911 and waited... what next ? What did he do? Did the police respond? What were the people he had been visiting do while this was going on?
