Ah hah, you got there in good shape and time, other than your pants.
That is some tricky ship there.
Did you have a good time in Gozo? Did you get some pics for us all? Did you stay relatively sober? Did you get another cognac to replace the one drop you spilled on your pants?
My next to last trip I spilled a whole glass of Coke on my white pants, sighh... I arrived color tinted and quite damp...lol.
Will be awaiting your next check in....and be careful, “Mort”. ;)
I am! ;)
'nother lovely day here in the flatlands of Fla-duh. Couldn't ask for more luscious weather, right Catpuppy? Our hills flatlands are alive with the Sound of Musak....:)
No.
Not allowed to have any Malteasers or ice cream either — sugar free is gudenufferCardy (tm grannie)
No betting for me. Glad the Pats won, whether it’s a squeaker or not. Didn’t even get a peek at a game this weekend.
Even a diabetic gets a little sugar once in a while.
Sorry, I’m not Polish........
Czech. I must be Hungary.
Or maybe I’m a young Turk.........
I’m Hungary and am about to Czech to see if there’s any leftover Turkey. If not I’ll whip up some Croatia in the Taipan.
No Spain, no gain.......
I don't get Georgia either but for the record, we haven't played them this year. Georgia is 10-2 just like LSU and (my apologies to catpuppy) it was their win over an unrated Georgia Tech that put them in 4th place but not in the race for the SEC Championship? Plus, all the polls have Virginia Tech at #5 or 6 and LSU stomped them, 48-7. Tennessee (9-3) is at #14 or 15 even though they creamed Georgia but its Tennessee that we play next week in Atlanta, not the dawgs. Ironically, LSU's only losses this year were both in triple overtimes to SEC teams, KY and AR.
Georgia barely beat Vanderbilt !FGS!, they lost to South Carolina 12-16 and to Tennessee 14-35. LSU beat South Carolina, 28-16.
Yes, sad to say Georgia, who will not even play in the SEC title game is ahead of both Tenessee and LSU in the polls........
And now he will get on the bandwagon for West Virginia and Missouri.
FOFLOL. I see Georgia Tech fired their coach.
Right. This has been the craziest season that I can ever remember.
I had an uneasy feeling about the LSU-AR game all week, With the endless speculation about losing Coach Miles to Michigan and coach Pelini to Nebraska it had to have impacted the team more than anyone would let on. I begged off attending a party to watch the game, stayed home to watch it by myself. I just didn't want to be around a group of people rehashing and second guessing every decision. Plus, I had a big party to attend that evening and wanted to have time to relax and dress for it LOL
:-(
Just the rabid ones. The sane ones would rather have Coach Miles... IMHO, he has been the picture of grace under pressuree. He has had a tumultous 3 years... first he replaced a popular coach, albeit one who would later become the devil incarnate, and he beat the devil LOL. Then he had to deal with the aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita ... no training facilities, lots of players and staff directly affected with loss of homes or displaced family members. His mentor, Bo Schembechler (sp) died and Coach Carr has a devasting season then resigns ... and yet... LSU has a 36-5 record, plus bowl appearances and wins, under Coach Miles. Most schools would die for that record. I remember LSU’s lean years before Sabin... losing seasons and loser coaches.
