Oh, Good Grief! I guess this lumpy, pasty-faced wuss hasn't heard that it has aleady been established, published and finally adjudicated that no one in the White House leaked anything about a low level CIA bimbo who was never "in" far enough to be "outted". It was the gossipy Colin Powell's chief lackey, Richard Armitage, who did the blabbing.

I suspect this has something to do with (a) the fact that McLellan's mother ran an unsuccessful campaign for governor in Texas against Governor Rick Perry, whom President Bush supported, (b) McLellans's an empty shirt who discovered his book wasn't marketable unless he peddled trash. Whatever the reason, someone oughta pinch McLellan's head off.

Former Aide Blames Bush for Leak Deceit
Nov 20, 2007, By MATT APUZZO

WASHINGTON (AP) - Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan blames President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for efforts to mislead the public about the role of White House aides in leaking the identity of a CIA operative.

In an excerpt from his forthcoming book, McClellan recounts the 2003 news conference in which he told reporters that aides Karl Rove and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby were "not involved" in the leak involving operative Valerie Plame.

"There was one problem. It was not true," McClellan writes, according to a brief excerpt released Tuesday. "I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest-ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff and the president himself."

FOFLOL. Oh, Lordy, when you said a "Christmas Ball" I assumed you needed a long dress. LOL Wouldn't ya know it, everywhere I looked I found lots of short dress possibilities...

I'm pleased that you liked some of them and that I guessed right about the best colors for your complexion and hair color. Best to shy away from cool, bluish shades of red and pink and go with the warmer tones of both. The red satin ABS dress at Saks with the asymetrical rouching at the waistline would work nicely with a not so well defined waistline but the skirt reminded me of Prom Night. LOL

K... I’ve got to run out and take care of a few things for tomorrow. I hope everyone has a fine and blessed Thanksgiving with loads of mouth-watering, scrumptious food shared with good friends and family. Please remember to include our troops in your Thanksgiving prayers tomorrow. :)

I promise not to reanimate, spindle, disintegrate, aluminize, or otherwise molest anyone’s turkey today.

Have a lovely day, LJ. I love that pic, it’s right up my alley-way. ;)

Just finished frying up my celery, onions and dried crans for the stuffing, and Al stuffed the celery with cream cheese and sliced olives.

Now we’ll have time to play cards and other games related to old gray hairs..lol. It’s a warm sunny day down here, and I hear it’s warm there too.

Been on the phone all morning with the kids and I’m phoned out. ;) Time for a little R+R until later.
